Maxacalcitol is a new vitamin D agonist, which is used to treat the abnormal symptoms of vitamin D metabolism caused by secondary hyperparathyroidism.
This product can inhibit the secretion of parathyroid hormone (PTH) on normal bovine parathyroid cells and parathyroid cells of patients with secondary hyperparathyroidism caused by chronic renal failure, and its effect is equivalent to that of calcitriol.
